Are you looking for a priest position with varied tasks in an exciting parish? Here is the opportunity! Stjørdal parish has a vacant priest position.

The Norwegian Church has a strong presence in Stjørdal parish. The turnout for baptisms and confirmations is high, and there are many beautiful and distinctive church buildings here.

The parish priest provides services based on needs in all parishes. Currently, the main focus of the service is on Selbu parish and Tydal parish. It is therefore desirable that the parish priest has his office space in the church office in Selbu. The staff in Selbu is used to interdisciplinary cooperation and is open to new initiatives.

In the west, the parish borders Trondheim, and extends towards the Swedish border in the east. In the south lies Tydal parish, which borders Røros. The distances are not great. Stjørdal is a traffic hub, with an airport and railway, the city is located on the E6, and the E14 to Sweden runs through the valley. From Stjørdal to Trondheim it is 35 km.

The rectory has nine parishes and five communal councils, eight parish priest positions, one chaplain and one associate priest position, in addition to the dean. Apart from the associate priest position, all positions are currently filled. The rectory is in Stjørdal municipality.
