Bærum Free Church is seeking a head pastor in a 50% position

The head pastor, as general manager, will lead the work to further develop our vision. This will be done together with the council of elders, council of deacons and staff (30% pastor and 10% caretaker).

We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with other people. Together with the church’s leadership and many committed volunteers, you will help develop the church further. The ability to lead, inspire and guide volunteers and staff are important qualities in this position.

Relevant education and/or experience as a pastor is desirable, and you must have gifts in leadership and motivation. Personal suitability and character are given great importance.

The Evangelical Lutheran Free Church has approximately 21,500 members divided into 79 congregations. Bærum Free Church was established in 1987 and currently has 175 members, of which 73 have the right to vote. The church has its own church building centrally located at Stabekk in Bærum municipality. The premises can be adapted for many activities.
